Maureen Sullivan

Maureen Sullivan is the Guidance Counselor at Northshore Recovery High School. She earned a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting and worked in the business world doing Accounting and Computer Training for eight years before going back to pursue her Master’s in Mental Health Counseling at Lesley College. Maureen has been working in public high schools as a Guidance Counselor since 1998; she is currently in her seventeenth year at Northshore Recovery High School. She values education and understands the need for learning as much as she can to help kids. Therefore, she has completed a post-graduate certificate, The Impact of Trauma on Learning, through Lesley University. She enjoys meeting kids and seeing the transformation that happens from being in a close-knit caring community.
Maureen lives with her husband Rick of 25 years in Salem. She enjoys sewing, reading, walking, and hiking. She is the proud co-owner of a small women’s accessories business called Sunshine Design.
