Jake Zeigler

Jake Zeigler is an Educator, Musician, and Labor Activist who serves as a History and Music Educator at Northshore Recovery High School.
Jake has dedicated his career to empowering youth of the Merrimack Valley and Greater North Shore communities through engagement in social, educational and musical development. Following the completion of his Bachelor's degree in Political Science at University of Massachusetts Lowell, Jake served as the inaugural Therapeutic Activities Coordinator at Justice Resource Institute's GRIP Program and later served as the Director of Music and Youth Initiative's Lawrence Music Clubhouse at the Lawrence YMCA.
Jake joined the Northshore Recovery High School Team in 2018 and served as the RHS Music Teacher for 3 years. Upon attaining his History Teaching License, Jake began teaching History at RHS in 2021 and continues to serve in that capacity offering innovative History curriculum techniques while continuing to integrate music into his unique history education model.
Jake also serves as the Teachers Union President of the Northshore Education Consortium Employees Federation and in his spare time enjoys fishing and performing as lead guitarist for his two bands Troubadour Soul and Jazzberry.
